Denzel "nonotwashington" Fleming , (born February 22, 1993) better known as @nonotwashington , is an American photographer, social media specialist, spoken word artist, and executive producer. He currently manages Pixel Pushas Creative Group which currently includes artists 16Phenom and @nonotwashington.
He was born in Kinston, NC and attended Southeast Elementary School where his 2nd grade teacher, Mr. Boyd traded baseball cards with [Fleming] in exchange for good behavior. It was then when he knew there was a reward system for writing. He spent the rest of his childhood in Jacksonville, NC with his mother influenced by neo-soul, gospel, and hip hop.
He began rapping at 16 and transitioned to spoken word at the age of 20. In college, after successfully making a name for himself as a poet, he started taking photographs of his peers and fellow creatives in the Greensboro area which provided funding for musical pursuits.
After graduating in from North Carolina A&T State University in May of 2017, he decided to use his Marketing degree within the community. Working in the fields of sales and education, he learned a new way to reach his target audience through positive propaganda-- hip hop. In April 2019, He released a single "Simple Words" with GoldenLord.
His artist, 16Phenom released 'I Love My QEA' in September 2019. Under the direction of Denzel Fleming, 16Phenom became the first artist to release an ‘educational’ trap single to promote his high school. 'Simple Words' is currently in rotation on the following stations: WNAA 90.1, CMVA 107.5, 105.7 The Beat Jamz and 92.7 JAMZ.
In 2021, Fleming launched his own artwork and wine line, "Something to Hold You" as merchandise at NextStop Wine and Cigar.
